That maybe an exaggeration; but you are on the right track.

They have already started complaining about how 3 teams from the same conference are not able to play in BCS games. They would continue to complain, because a sanctioned tournament has to seed the winner from every conference.

That would leave out a few teams; as there can be only so many @ large bids.

The only reasonable thing to do is turn the bowls back into exhibitions - all of them - and don't crown a champ. Let the media do it if they must, but let it go.

That would be the only reasonable thing to do.

Although, I liked the idea of there being potentially two champions under the old bowl format.

Maybe if the BCS does house only a Championship game, while cutting the Four Game Bowl ring free, as recently proposed, we can have that again.

The BCS National Champion.
The AP Champion.

In all actuality, the ap does award their championship to a team every year.
Only, other than in 2003, it has been the team awarded as the BCS winner.

I don't think the BCS should have a dog in the fight. The major presidents (the BCS committee) have proven they can't be trusted with running this system. They went from a system that was honestly flawed into a system where corruption and manipulation is the norm.

You can't have someone voting who's votes on what is best for them without regard to what is right. That is what our system of government has turned into. Let's go back to the flawed system that is flawed, but honest.

The last winner wins it all...

In 1996 #2 FSU played #1 Florida in the last game of the year and beat the Gators. The teams were rematched in the Sugar Bowl as #1 FSU vs #2 Florida. Florida won and were National Champions,

Both FSU and Florida had only one loss, to each other....

Was there vodka in that water cooler?
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

But Otis always turned himself in...which I think he did to get away from his wife...I always felt like that was implied.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
