Bama will win by at least 10.

10 points will be about right if it's at Alabama. I think that is where it is at?

Yep, at Bama.

I agree, I think Bama can take them. Auburn really annoys me with their play...that one defensive lineman has a tendency to drive QB's into the ground, and I don't know why that's not flagged.

Georgia did expose some weakness with Auburn and their passing game, and least what I saw (didn't see the whole game, went skeet shootin)

Overall, I'm happy that Georgia made a game of it. There is a lot to be hopeful for out of Aaron Murray.

I'll be at the Ga/Tech game next week in Athens, and look forward to pasting them...they seem to be really struggling this year.

GO DAWGS!!!
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

His name is Fairly and he is a dirty player. He horse collared Mallet, slammed the back of Mallets head to the ground, while purposefully twisting his left arm in an ackward motion....and he then let all of his body weight fall on Mallets chest. That play in Auburn knocked Mallett out for the last 3 quarters of the game with a concussion. Oh...and there was not flag for roughing the QB (the ball had been thrown before Fairly made contact with Mallett).

I think Auburn beats Bama by 10 points if Newton is allowed to play. I guess I am in the minority here. Also, Ark needs Auburn to win so Ark can have a shot at the Sugar Bowl. In a perfect world both teams could lose.

Doss you seem to have a conspiracy theory at times about the SEC, do you think they would risk having their undefeated team miss the BCS championship game by losing to Bama and possibly losing to SC in the conference title game? One loss they may fall out of the top 2 spots, 2 losses they definitely would. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

I just think if Cam plays then Bama will not stop him from getting his yards and points.

On the issue about conspiracy theories: If Auburn boosters are paying players then what is keeping them from paying officials. Anyone who watched Auburn get 14 free points from the refs against Ark has to wonder.

I watched the game and agree that there were some very bad calls, but I do not "wonder" or believe the officials were paid, or there is a conspiracy for Auburn or against the Hogs. Even if I felt there was a conspiracy, Auburn would be way down on the totem pole before getting any favorable consideration.

I am not saying the SEC league office had anything to do with it...but I would not put it past a booster to line the officials pockets. If they will pay for players then is it so far fetched they would go after the refs as well. Do I think it happened...No. But the officiating in last years Florida vs Ark game and this years Auburn vs Ark game leaves you scratching your head....can the officials really be this inept.

Exactly. The officiating staff in the 'Shoe yesterday was bad. I knew when I saw the head ref that is was going to be a tough day. They screw Ohio State everytime they are on the field. Do they conspire to cheat? I don't think so. They are just inept. They even called Ohio State for an illegal wedge play. What is a wedge play you ask, well I don't know. I have been involved in football for the better part of forty years and I have never heard of a wedge play and for that matter what could possibly make it illegal. So I guess that crew is just so good they officiate games in a manner that is over my head.

I must have been at the frig getting sustenance when the "wedge" penalty was called. I have seen it called earlier this year. Not sure what game. Was this on the kickoff? It was previously called for-when a group of 3 or more make a blocking "wedge" or line to help escort and drive the kickoff returner through the on rushing players. Too many injuries trying to penetrate tge wedge caused the new rule. A lot of separated shoulders.

What you are discribing I always called a chop block. Hitting high and low. I can't tell you what happened, but it wasn't on a kickoff. If I could discribe what happened I guess I would know what happened.

That crew never gets the spot right. I saw one time I agreed with the spot. Saine was running down the sideline toward the goal line and he stepped out on the five. Most around me thought he went out on the three, but the replay confirmed he stepped out earlier.

No. I saw the call earlier this year too...GoBoilers and I are in the same area so it was likely the same game. I wasn't fully certain but thought it might have been what GoBoilers said. Picture this, I am beside 2 guys and the kick returner is a few yards behind us...me and the other 2 blockers are close to each other, close enough to grab another part of the other blocker's body (hold his hand, forearm, or shoulder pad) and we lock up and in a wedge form (like geese flying) and the runner tucks in behind us. I always thought it was stupid, way too easy for a 230 pound man to come down field at 20+ mph and drive through the outstretched armed that is grasping another player...and they are moving at 5 to 15 mph. Think about it, it started to become common a few years ago to see guys linking hands as they started at a jog to head up field, as the ball was coming down about 5 yards behind them...heading to the awaiting returner.

The new rule states that the team receiving a kickoff can no longer have more than two players standing within two yards of one another, shoulder to shoulder. If so, the team will be given a 15-yard penalty, even if there is no contact on the play.
