ND/Michigan

YAY! 8)

It was a fun game, but I wasn't nearly as interested in it as I was in years' past. After Michigan got up 10-0 and even after Notre Dame tied the game, I never felt too nervous; Michigan's offense was in cruise control and I knew that would be good enough to win. I was a little sick to my stomach with the defense tonight. Not sure what happened there, but their performance was disappointing. They came up big in some big moments, but the Irish don't have that explosive of an offense and they racked up over 400 yards. They just got carved up by Tommy Rees. Gross.

A lot of work left to do especially on defense, but I think it'll be smooth sailing until November 9th when they host Nebraska. Penn State can keep it close, but they won't have enough punch to win that in my opinion. I'm not worried about Michigan State this year even in East Lansing with the way their offense looks. Their defense is better at scoring than their offense  .

I kind of sound like a hubristic fan who's drank some early-season kool-aid, but Michigan still has some issues.

I thought Michigan would handle Notre Dame on both lines. I was surprised too.
