So the winner is.....

1. FSU
2. Baylor
3. Oregon

I think, without any good reason, that FSU would beat both Oregon and Baylor and Oregon would beat Baylor.

That is my opinion as well, except I see Oregon as a much closer game. A nail biter.

Hard to imagine two such high profile games being played on Thur night. OU and Baylor 20 minutes til kickoff.
I will be using my DVR for the Oregon vs Stanford game and will probably watch around 4 or 5 AM.

I'm cheering for whatever it takes to get Oregon/Baylor in a BCS game, which would be absolutely amazing 8) . The championship game is the longest of long shots and the Fiesta Bowl is an impossibility (Oregon would be the first at-large off the board, Fiesta gets last pick). Any scenario where Baylor doesn't win the Big 12 and Oregon doesn't win the Pac-12 increases our odds.

Using the above criteria:
1. Baylor = 1.5 average
2. FSU = 2 average
3. Oregon = 2.5 average

Our odds of seeing Baylor and Oregon in a bowl game. Only way it could happen is in the Orange Bowl where Florida State goes to the national championship. It's just something I'd like to see, especially this year. Oregon is absolutely toast right now, so they won't be in the title game or the Rose Bowl as things stand today. I think the Sugar would want an SEC at-large to replace Bama, Orange gets next selection.

Baylor still had a chance at the championship game though.

Baylor does not control their destiny...But they do pass the eye test.

They need a team or two to lose a game.

This will be an interesting close with Alabama, FSU, Ohio State, Baylor, Fresno, and NIU undefeated.

I wonder if not having a CCG game will hurt Baylor....

If you have 13-0 Bama..13-0 Ohio State...13-0 FSU...does a 12-0 Baylor pay a penalty?

It may be Fresno State vs Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl...

Baylor has no chance if Alabama and FSU go undefeated. If one loses, you have to like their chances. The voters aren't going to put Ohio State in the championship game. That has been obvious from the begining of the year. I wouldn't be surprised to see Baylor at #3 this week. From there, they need someone to lose. It isn't going to be FSU, so they are rooting for whoever Bama plays.

I don't like FSU playing Miami twice...playing a huge rival twice is not a good thing.....

like....It doesn't matter how good Ohio State is vs Michigan, it is always dangerous to have to play them twice.

Right, because rivalry games involve emotion. It still requires the rival to have enough talent to win.

And Miami only has that one loss to FSU and is talented enough to work themselves up for a revenge game...
