I'll go Arizona.

I wanted to take some more "Group of 5" teams, but I just can't pass up on Arizona's non-conference schedule. Plus they get Colorado and Utah in-division plus Washington State and Cal from the North. They do need to find a QB though and RichRod doesn't sound very happy with his options right now.

Yeah, I quite nearly took Buffalo ... however, they are rebuilding their defensive front, and heavily relied upon Line Backer.

When I saw that 3 of their front 4 from last year, were four year starters who all graduated ... that kind of uncertainty swayed me in the other direction.

Spence, you're back on the clock ...

Eric posted his pick at 10:21 am; making your start time 11 am (10 minutes ago) > giving you until 12:oo midnight to make your final selection.

I'll take the OU Bobcats.

The last pick...I was all set to not take a 3rd team from the ACC and I still like the idea of taking Texas State but I just dont think I can pass on UNC. They found their QB late last year but given a full season, I chose UNC. Let the fun begin.

To sum up --- those two teams [Ohio & North Carolina] were both on my list, and were difficult to pass up as a final slection.

.

And with that, our conferences are filled ... I'll start a new thread that will track our Conferences progress as the season moves forward.

I liked the idea of Texas State, but their games against Illinois, Tulsa, and Navy scared me off. They could go 2-1 against that slate or they could go a close 0-3. Arkansas State was also intriguing, but they also have a tough non-conference against Utah State, Miami, and Tennessee. I wanted to pick Mississippi State somewhere because their non-conference is easy, but they really haven't proven anything yet. If Dak Prescott is as good as people think he can become, you're still only talking about 8-4 as a ceiling. I was thinking about San Diego State too, but 8-4 is probably best-case scenario.

Yep, the other teams I considered, that remain unchosen:

Buffalo
Minnesota
Missi State
Penn State
San Diego State
Vanderbilt
