Utah - Oregon

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sun Nov 09, 2014 1:40 am

The Ducks got cocky, and went for it on 4th & 10, being up 27 - 13, with 6 mins 33 ticks is the 3rd quarter.

Turnover on downs, with 3 mins 28 sec's in the 3rd quarter, Utah scores a Touchdown; now within 7 of tying up this game ...

We got a good one in Salt Lake City.

That showoff TD/Fumble by Utah should automatically disqualify them from winning the game. If I were the Utah coach that kid would touch every step in every section in the home stadium on Monday.

Yeah, he'd be running steps, then round the outside of the stadium, then back in for more steps for his post weekend workout, if I were his coach.

But, Oregon getting held to a fieldgoal, and Utah responding with a TD, 2 mins 24 secs, 82 yards ... 3 point game.

This could be interesting down the stretch.

Just poor tackling there.

75 yard, 5 plays, 1 min 19 sec's ... TD for the Ducks.

Utah's defense doesn't look tired. But they do look as though they were all standing around waiting for someone else to make the play on 3 of those snaps.

It's almost as if, they feel they had the momentum in their favor, and assumed Oregon was simply lost. Instead, Utah gives up 7.

Yeah that play was absolutely crazy. I don't know what the fascination is behind showboating before you're 100% sure that you're in the endzone. There's always a few guys every fall who fall victim to it every season, pros and college. Adrenaline makes you do some stupid stuff

Make him carry the football with him everywhere he goes for the rest of the season so he knows not to drop it.
