Nebraska v BYU
College football at its best when it comes to entertainment. Wanted Riley to have a debut win, thought he would. Wanted BYU to win because my wife says I need to be more loyal. (Of course when the play Boise State, so much for loyalty.) BYU will struggle, I think. Nebraska will regain its stature. Just fun football to watch.

That was a great finish. Game was pretty entertaining as a whole but that last drive/heave was fun. Thought we might have another epic finish in the SIU/Indiana game but just couldn't quite squeeze that 2 pt conversion.

I'm not really sure why Ianotti had to transfer from Eastern. He's better than any EMU QB in the last decade as far as I can tell.

I don't want to say I called that Hail Mary, but I was sitting there with one of those "feelings." Sometimes you can just sense it when it comes to the heave. Plus, it's the most Nebraska way ever to lose a game. That team has had all sorts of mental lapses costing them games over the last dozen years or so.

My son asked me if I found it ironic that a Mormon team, in the most desperate situation, would turn to Hail Mary. I didn't.
