In a 52 to 0 victory, Boise State won in a game nobody cares about in a fashion that no one cares about. The only news is they lost their quarterback to an ankle injury and the back up QB's made their debut. in the second half, freshman quarterback Brett Rypien nephew of former Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien, made his first start and became the first true freshman to play the position at Boise State since Tony Hilde in 1993.
Of note, Bosie playing Idaho St is what is suppose to happen to instate rivals. Kudos to both schools for making the match. The citizens of a state that are footing the bill deserve to share in what there taxes support.

Any shut out is great defense. I don't know how good Idaho is but 52-0 looks like a great score.
Tough losing a starting QB so early in the season.

It says a lot about the coaching when a freshman back up QB comes in and plays well.
