I like that idea, but I would like (or prefer) the ranks be done with respect to a person's education. Not to put anyone down, but anyone can post! Is there a way to make it specific to what a person posts? As in terms of it's relevance and/or insight into college football, without being judgemental?
just a question i have, anyone can make multiple postings.

Right, which is where the Fantasy Sports (see top, or read the article in the forum) comes into play.
When the new season begins, you will be awarded your rank based off of points that you earn from your picks and predictions. Winner + Exact Score.
It's coming, I promise =]
Thanks for the feedback, though. Any more ideas are definitely welcome. We've got an entire off-season to start new stuff.

That ranking based on how well you do in predictions.. is that just going to be automatic for everyone, even if you don't participate in the predicitions.. because i am in college now and don't always have the time to check all the stats and watch all the games.. i would feel belittled by a low ranking just because i didn't participate.. is there any way that you could just have rankings for those who participate in the predictions?? I guess it really isn't a big deal, I just know that i won't have time to participate unfortunately..
Hey, GA DAWG .....
Some advice from an Ole Mountaineer ...... Don't let anything interfere with your studies. Go to class and bust those books. College football has been around for a long time and will be around for a long time going forward. Your educational opportunity with come and go in short order.

GA DAWG, thanks for bringing that oversight to my attention =] There is no way, as far as the board and the programming that's involved are concerned, to seperate the two. The rankings are either based off of points, or posts, and no mix. HOWEVER, in your case, I can probably make an exception. Whenever you cross the threshold for the next rank with your posts (as I have them set now), let me know. I'll bump you up in rank accordingly. But because the ranks were created solely for the purpose of showing off your knowledge of college football, I probably won't be able to bump you all the way up without participation in the fantasy sports. I'll cap it off somewhere, probably at either 3 or 4 footballs. We can work it out when the time comes, though =] If you have another idea, let me know.

Re: What are the ranks/awards?
Welcome to CFP. You don't technically have to win your conference to play in the BCS championship. You only have to finish first or second in the BCS. That is the official answer. Unofficially, as proven with Georgia in 2006, the poll voters will not allow a team that doesn't win their conference into the BCS championship game. So it doesn't matter if it is a rule or not. they aren't letting it happen.
