Great Weekend Of College Football…….

Postby Mountainman » Sun Oct 16, 2022 12:03 pm

……… I don’t know if it gets any better than this weekend with soooo many close games with comeback wins and late game drama. 8) 8) 8)

Did you see the clip on TV where after the Tennessee/Alabama game where the little boy asked his dad ‘Why do Tennessee Fans wear so much orange?” and his daddy told the little guy, “Son, it’s so they can cheer for the Vols on Saturday, go huntin’ on Sunday, and go to their job on Monday, PICKING UP TRASH ALONG THE SIDES OF THE ROAD”

”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

TN fans are incredibly annoying this year. They a much improved team, but I think their ranking is not really deserved as of yet.

Mainly because I feel Alabama is a little over-rated, so beating them by 3 is nothing to really brag about.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I agree, but it has been a long time for them so you have to let them enjoy a little saber rattling.
