Stetson Bennett

Postby Derek » Sat Nov 26, 2022 3:36 pm

He is the worst QB for a #1 ranked team I have ever seen. I'm SO glad he is leaving at the end of the season.

I've never seen a QB play with such inconsistency. :( :( :( :(
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

He knows his job and he excepts it. That is the mark of a smart player.

I hope so, and I hope I'm wrong. But Ga winning last year was a testament to the term "Defense wins championships". And again this year, I feel the defense is covering for a weak QB.

Ohio State has a good QB. I would rather have a good defense and a offensive line that can move a mountain.

……….don’t get me wrong, you know more about Georgia than I do. But to me, with a team like the Bulldogs, the best thing you can have is a quarterback that is fundamentally sound and DOES NOT TURN THE BALL OVER……. just get the play call, get ‘em lined up, execute the play, and let the team around you win the game.

Especially with a team like Georgia and that DEFENSE…….

Yep. Ohio State won a championship with Craig Krenzel. He was not the most skilled QB, but he was the smartest guy on the field most if not all of the time. He was a field general. Ohio State mostly expected him to not turn the ball over and let the defense do their thing.
