Oh no…….. no lemon ever goes into a Mason Jar!!!!!! Absolutely no worms either!!!!!!

However there are a variety of fruits and berries, such as apples, peaches, grapes, pears, blackberries that do indeed provide a fruity flavor. BUT, under no circumstance would a WORM share the same container. Instead, there are on occasion, those who will place a Crawdad in the jar.

The process is simple, drain the jar, eat the fruit, and then do a ‘bottoms-up’ with the jar letting the crawdad slide into the mouth. Then simply expectorate the crawdad into one hand and then using the other hand, rip the head, pinchers and torso from the tail section and toss those over your shoulder while at the same time tossing the tail section into your mouth and munch away. 8)

Of course I'm going to change the context here a bit, and metaphorically ask ...

Is it possible then, that the Administration at West Va leading into the Season actually did have a Worm in the Jar [Shane Lyons], and that he was enjoying the flavor of a Lemon Wedge [Neal Brown] floating on the bottom with him?

Maybe they Stuffed the Crawdad in there to Fishout the Worm ...

But the Lemon still remains, and the fruit seems to be leaving in the Portal.

Or maybe I'm out of sorts, here.

I’ll get back to you on this…… I’ve been watching the CFP Championship Game, but now I’m getting the popcorn ready to flip the channel and watch Pettycoat Junction and Andy Griffin, 8)

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is what I found pop up on a local channel.

It's more interesting to see this again, and say; "Hey, that guy was in ..."

Nice work with the metaphors……..but I’ll speak to the irony.

I do find ironic that the misdeeds and missteps of Shane Lyons resulted in him being fired and losing his job, while many of those same misdeeds and missteps saved Neil Brown’s job. 8)

You’ve got it right, the Lemon is still in the jar because it’s going to take some pain and suffering and some time to get that worm’s slime and residue out of the jar.

The irony I mentioned are the primary reasons the Lemon is still around. First, the guaranteed full term contractual payout agreed to by the Worm AND the NIL money currently be used by the Lemon, supplied by the ‘Country Roads Trust’, which the Worm was not a supporter or advocate of.

FYI……. Of the 21 signee’s ‘The Worm’ signed in the 2020 recruiting class, 17 have left the program.

So the math equation currently @ WVU becomes; 1 Lemon + 1 Worm = Contractional Obligations worth -1 Worm = 3 Players :|

You think that's bad ...

Miami QB Commit 5 Star, Jaden Rashada, pulled his commitment back in November, and announced he was signing with the swamp rats. He sighted that he felt their program was more established.

But, when National Signing Day arrived, he did not sign, and sources really close to the matter are stating as 100% certainty, it has something to do with NIL agreements and uf not holding up their end.

I don't know what to think these days about it. The crazy rumor out there, now, is flurDah! put $13 million on the table, and is having trouble following through.

If there is any ayre of truth to that, it's insane. There are QB's in the nfl who can't get that kind of deal.

What's crazy, is how they are still calling the Gator Collective a 3rd Party to keep up appearances, and that the media hasn't done a single bit of journalism to point out that it has been run out of an office on the University Campus.

I get why espn won't report on it, uf being an SEC program and contractual commodity.

But why the media at large is continuing to keep up the facade is a little more perplexing. Maybe networks and publications don't want to burn bridges in the event of a landscape shift in the future.

I don't know.

But asking us to believe the Universities have no knowledge or direct input on NIL maters is telling us to be gleefully ignorant.

Not sure any of the collectives are separate from the schools in anything but name only. It is really screwed up. It has nothing to do with NIL. It is just a legal way of boosters paying recruits to come to a school.

I agree with this. I wish we could get ESPN out of the picture here. This is turning into the minor leagues.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

When I read $13 million dollars and High School Quarterback in the same sentence, I think, “Hmmmmm, I wonder how much the other 84 signees are getting paid, not to mention the Coaching and Staff….. which begs the question where’s all this money coming from???? Boosters????? Really???? and then I wonder who else may be involved, and I believe you can BET that are, and even get ODDS“.

Sure sounding more and more like an employer/employee relationship to me, just trying to figure out which ones which…….. has the term ‘Donor’ been defined?????
