Annoying (drunk) fans

Postby Larry » Wed Feb 08, 2006 8:54 pm

Two years ago, my wife & I had ticket seats overlooking the 2 1/2 yard line. Okay..they weren't on the 50 yard line, but so be it. We enjoyed every game (most of the nearby fans were "hot" chicks). COOL!

but this past season--we were surrounded by "drunks"! We had better seats, but the "loud and obnoxious" family sitting below us made our "game day experience" "less than expected".

Anybody else have this problem?

Not me, I am usually one of the drunks. If you can't beat them............

My seats her are in sec.104 row 14 seats 10-11
They are in the east balcony on the north 25 yard line.
Had them since 1962.
The mrs. and I do not attend the game any more ,but we still hold the tickets rights.

We sell them to a former pastor of our church, and he sure does enjoy them.
It is the only way he can get tickets as the waiting list at last count was about 20,000.
I would like to attend, but can not take the heat in those early games as we would be in direct sun shine.
4 years ago the mrs. almost had to carried out from being over come by the heat.

I assume the pastor isn't getting drunk and rowdy.

It all depends on what denomination he happens to be. That is allowed in some circles.

drunks are usually pretty amusing to me, the rest of the crowd is so loud that they are easy to overlook though

You have to admire the drunks at the games, it so difficult t smuggle booze into there.

Ohio State has never sold alcohol inside the stadium, but the fact that there are 200 bars within walking distance to the 'Shoe has never kept the people who want to come in drunk from doing so.

It is all part of getting older. I used to rattle some cages back in the day, now not so much. Kids will do that to you as well as age.

Nothing to rattle, except a rattle.
