Yeah it's been a bit rougher but I think it's because teams haven't lived up to expectation and others are emerging without warning. Eric is doing an awesome job of picking the games too. I've got a pretty good idea on half of them, and I'm going to break out the dart board again for the other half. Although the dart board beat me last week. It went 8-2 and I went 5-5.

i need a new dart board too
i'm actually going to make time to research this week. i keep putting off and haven't had time... so look out!

maybe if i read this enough, i will believe it

i heard tell of the dewy decimal system in the 3rd grade. they said we were going to learn it because by the time we grew up there wouldn't be any mile markers, there would be meter markers and there was a big hooptydoo about it, people saying we shouldn't have to conform with the rest of the world, they should conform with us and others saying we would be behind the rest of the world and the commies would be one up on us if we didn't learn it and then we did some more nuclear holocaust drills and hid under our desks and then it went away

The best thing I can say about my picks is that I've improved every week ----- 9 right, 10 right, 11 right.
The most honest thing I can say about my picks is that I am really sucking this year. I need a 20-0 week desperately! But it ain't gonna happen with the games. You're killing me, Eric.

Uh huh, you probably think Mississippi State will beat Auburn too

This is what Doba said, "I don't have all the names of the running backs...but I saw four different numbers...

"When pressed to identify each tailback's best asset, Doba admitted he had not studied each one thoroughly, but added he did see fullback Havili's 50 yard run on Southern Cal's firs play from scrimmage against the Cornhuskers." "He runs like a tailback>

How can you not go with the Cougars when they are obviously so prepared!

PS Doba said starting kicker Romeen Abdollmohammadi is in no danger of losing his job......

NOTE: Memphis and Arkansas State's game, originally postponed due to lightning, will be made up September 27th. The Pick 'Em standings will be updated to reflect everyone's pick for that game back in Week 2. No one will be allowed to enter a pick if they missed Week 2, or modify their pick.

Guys and gals, I really have to butt in here, I think, and state an opinion... All submissions and changes should be closed the minute the FIRST GAME in the Pick 'Em list is played.

Why? Well, let's say that Saturday morning, fifteen minutes before Team A plays Team B, I hear that Team A's star quarterback broke his leg in warm-ups. I change my pick to Team B, but everyone else was unaware because they were watching another game, at work, out of town, etc. Not very fair.

Spence, Eric, Doss... I hope that you agree with me on this matter. I know we don't have any cheaters on here, but no one probably would have considered it cheating.

If you guys agree, let's do it this way from now on. Thread, edits, submissions... all locked at game time for Game 1.
