Aloha in return!
About 90 miles away from Ann Arbor in Port Huron.
I visited New Braunfels TX once. I liked the park that has small river running through it and also ate German food there.

Welcome!!
First off, please explain your position on SOS.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

SOS aka "strength of schedule" certainly has to matter. As much as I think this year's TCU team is the best they've had in the last five years, good teams that challenge themselves are best prepared for future challenges. It certainly isn't a lack of desire of top-tier schools from non-AQ conferences to play anyone, it's the hand they are dealt by the conference they play in. The MWC isn't a bad conference, but from top to bottom they were definitely better in 2009. Adding Nevada and Fresno State helps somewhat, but a couple of disenchanted Big 12 members would really help to make the MWC an automatic qualifying conference.
Notice that I mentioned "good teams" that challenge themselves, as Sun Belt and MAC schools that aren't that good aren't necessarily better because of a murderer's row of a non-conference schedule.

I know I'm joining at the end of the season, but I've been following the computer picks and just saw the forum late in the season. I'm a Tulsa fan married to a big Razorback fan and we live in Arkansas. Here I want to go to Hawaii for bowl season and the wife wants to go to New Orleans. Good grief!
I see the picks by you guys, but where are the results? Who's on top?
-Marty
The picks results are a behind a little. Welcome to CFP. The season may be about over, but we are here all year. Glad to have to aboard. I would have to agree with your wife on this one, though, go to the big easy.

Welcome aboard, Tulsa.
I know New Orleans pretty well, so I'm pretty partial to the Big Easy. I recommend Parkway Bakery if you guys like po-boy sandwiches.
But this time of year, if the temperature is below 40 degrees in NOLA, it definitely is colder than your "midwest 40 degrees or below". Being near the Gulf of Mexico, you'll definitely notice.

Welcome and don't be a stranger. We could use a few LSU guys to keep those Razorbacks in line.
