And by getting me to work on it in the morning, he means sending me an e-mail at 4am (and I get my e-mails sent to my Blackberry cell phone, so it was a nice and early wake-up call). Geeze, the things I do... haha.
I've set up two or three of these boards in the past, and the same problem always seems to exist. It has something to do with the cookies. For some people it always works, for some it doesn't. If you're running a thorough anti-virus, or your internet settings are blocking cookies, then you probably won't be able to use the auto-login.
This is straight from the support forum for this board:
"The members most likely have the cookie security settings set to disallow cookies. Tell them to change them to allow cookies completely or just from your site. IE6 has improved features for this and your members might have messed with the settings."
HOW TO ALLOW COOKIES:
If you have Internet Explorer, go to
Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced.
The options shouldn't be highlighted, but you can still check where they're located. Both should be set to "Accept". If not, override the current settings and change that, also allowing sessions (check box below them).
I'll also make the session length a bit longer. Should take care of everything. Sorry for any inconvenience, guys.

PS - Sorry for the pink colors. I think my monitor must be off on it's color balance. Fixed that, though.

The old board will remain available for... well, forever.
Here is the difference:
Once everyone is transplanted over to the new board, comfortable with it, and has no issues, we will begin the process of phasing out the old board.
We will freeze/lock/view-only/etc the board sometime in the coming months. You can still view all the topics, you just can't post new ones.
Right now we're still in the "do we like the new board?" mode, and we're waiting to see the results before we freeze the old one. So far, though, it seems that everyone has accepted it.

This board
I think this board is going to be wildly successful. My elitist pride is very catered to knowing that I was one of the first to get on here. You can even make up your own polls, are you kidding me? Lots of congrats!

My color scheme has changed from blue to red. (kinda reminds me of a Jimi Hendrix lyric) Other forums I've registered on have allowed me to personalize the appearence and color of the screen and can't remeber how to do it or if you have the option available. I liked the blue better.
Go to PROFILE, under the PREFERENCES section, make the BOARD STYLE field "CFP".
Don't know why it changed styles on you.
We only have this style designed for right now (to flow with the soon-coming 2006 CFP website), but we'll get some more for you guys later on. They're just a pain in the butt the make, especially when you try integrating all of the graphics, so it will take some time.

That I can do. Give me a few days =] If it's not up soon, yell at me and I'll get in motion.
