I like the horns in this one.

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
Kind of a sloppy game to this point. Colt threw into double coverage on that last throw.

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
They are on Colt like stink on a dog. Not going well for Texas offense right now. Dropping passes etc.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
Pelini's defense is smothering the Texas offensive line right now. Texas needs to adjust to Nebraska's rush or the Huskers will completely take over the field position game.

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
Pelini or whoever calls the plays just lost this game by wasting two possessions on deep throws. Sure, Nebraska will keep playing great defense, but they only have a two FG cushion. That's going to evaporate soon. I don't get chucking it deep twice coming off turnovers like they just did. It looks like they're waving a white flag saying, "our offense is so horrible the only way we can win this is by going to the endzone." Horrible playcalling

Come on Nebraska....there is no team I like less than Texas. Hey, it's how I was raised...I can't help it.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

Pelini doesn't call the plays. He is a defensive guy. I'm sure he approved the call though. Pelini knows that Texas has more talent and he is trying to get a couple quick strikes and deflate Texas.
You were the one who call the season boring. It is starting to heat up. TCU may be playing for a championship in a month.

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
Nebraska just doesn't have enough fire power on offense to win this in the end. They have to keep field position flipped on Texas to have a chance.

Yeah those plays just killed me...stupid...flat stupid!

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
I'm torn on who to root for. If Nebraska wins it may mean we finally could see a non-BCS conference school play for the mythical championship but on the other end it could mean Boise gets shut out of the BCS all together and after the dominoes all fall could result in the MAC champion having to play Middle Tennesee State since Boise would fill a spot that caused one less at-large team needed and the Big Ten would likely still get a second in the BCS.
I guess overall best case would be Nebraska wins and the Fiesta selects Boise State as their opponent over both Iowa and Penn State. Then the Big Ten fills their bowl slot in Detroit and we may have a TCU in the title game if they happen to end up #2. Call me a skeptic but I don't think the Fiesta picks Boise over Iowa or PSU to play Nebraska. If they get two at-large teams (i.e. Texas wins tonight) I think the Broncos do go to Arizona to play somebody and MAC champ Central Michigan gets to play a name school like UCLA.

Texas is going to lose. 11:35 left in the 4th.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Sorry, I don't believe TCU deserves to play for the NC.

Re: NEBRASKA AND TEXAS
This is the football game I expected to see with Alabama and Florida. This is a great great defensive football game. If either defense makes a mistake in the last 5 minutes, they lose. Just a good football game.
