Your right. there have been a couple of years, recently, when Iowa was under-rated and it cost them in the polls. With 119 teams, I don't know how to fix that. If Iowa gets hot this year and starts winning they should move up in the polls fairly quickly based on history. So I guess it works both ways.

They're going to have a really hard time in 2006. I'm thinking a 3-9 season should be pretty good. Maybe 4 is the maximum:

9-2-06 at Michigan
9-9-06 at Alabama
9-16-06 ARKANSAS
9-23-06 TENNESSEE STATE (tougher than expected)
9-30-06 TEMPLE

10-7-06 at Mississippi
10-14-06 at Georgia
10-21-06 SOUTH CAROLINA
10-28-06 at Duke
11-4-06 FLORIDA
11-11-06 at Kentucky
11-18-06 TENNESSEE

I see them at 3-9.

That is quite teh difficult scheulde...Sucks to be them. I'll agree 3-9.

I'm thinking that they're going to split with Duke and Kentucky since both games are on the road. The Blue Devils and the Wildcats both look improved while Vanderbilt just took a huge step back.

If the Hawkeyes can get by Iowa St (which used to be a given) there will be a big game in Iowa City between the Buckeyes and Hawkeyes on National TV. I sure hope it happens and will be our chance to get into the National Championship mix.

I agree. The game in Texas has more national implications, but the Iowa game is the one everyone in Columbus point to as the make or break game.

Hopefully you will win the game in Texas, as that will help the Hawkeyes, should we then beat the Bucks (which we seldom do).

You beat us up pretty bad last time we were in Kinnick.
