I haven't been watching this game, as I have Texas/OU, LSU/Tenn and Wisc/MSU on my three tvs, but it appears that either Michigan's defense is not too stout or Indiana is a real powerhouse.

You really think so? Ohio State can play defense. Granted the offense of Ohio State is one dimensional, but Michigan's defense is so bad that shouldn't be a problem. I don't see Michigan matching up against Ohio State at all. I think even if Robinson turns out to be a great back, Ohio State will stop him five or six times. That should be enough against the Michigan D for Ohio State to win the game.

You really think so? Ohio State can play defense. Granted the offense of Ohio State is one dimensional, but Michigan's defense is so bad that shouldn't be a problem. I don't see Michigan matching up against Ohio State at all. I think even if Robinson turns out to be a great back, Ohio State will stop him five or six times. Yeah, I think Michigan has a prayer. As in, before this game I thought Michigan had no chance, but the way the offense has been operating I think they could give Ohio State matchup problems. Even with that, the thing that makes them a longshot in my mind is that you never know how their defense will do in a rivalry environment. All they need to do is play good defense for one game, and that could be it.

Indiana's passing offense has been very good all year long. Chappell is an underrated QB. But even saying that, yes, Michigan's defense is very leaky in the secondary. The rushing defense and the front 7 hasn't been too horrible when teams try to run it at them, but it's their pursuit to the ball and the lanes they leave open downfield that really give them issues. Another thing that they've struggled with against Indiana are screen passes, because Chappell can dump it 3 yards downfield and the receiver can take it downfield for another 8 or 9. It's rough.

You go ahead and dream, it is still early.

Ohio State plays them next week so we should get a pretty good idea about how good their recievers are because Ohio State is really, really thin in the secondary and Pryor is likely to be at half speed due to the quad injury. he can't plant to throw right now.

No, that's why our starting defensive backs are converted wide receivers, at least a couple of them

I think that touchdown scamper and bomb thrown by Denard Robinson was Heisman-quality stuff. It's not his fault he plays on an average team that gives them no defensive support whatsoever.

Robinson will get his yards, but Ohio State hasn't allowed a 100 yard rusher in 28 games. I think the matchup favors Ohio State simply because most often the best defense will win, especially because Ohio State has an alright offense (meaning not good, but not terrible) and a very good defense and Michigan seems to have a very good offense, but no defense at all. They barely provide a resistance.

What's sad is that at West Virginia, for a few seasons at least, he had decent defensive play to accompany Pat White and Steve Slaton. At Michigan....He just has Denard Robinson. Basically it's an improved Roy Roundtree + Denard Robinson + a more in-shape offensive line and that's the only difference from last year to this year. Granted Denard Robinson playing the way he is is a huge improvement, but my point is that the boneheaded turnovers are still there and the defense is basically as awful as it was last season. So even though the record is much prettier, this isn't a wholesale improvement from 2009.
