Here I am watching Arkansas State / Louisville (because Bilal Powell is on my fantasy roster), and Froman just tossed a pick in the endzone. The Arkansas State DB runs out of the endzone and dives forward.....TO THE TWO YARD LINE! Nice play, genius. If I'm a coach or the other players on the roster, I'm not patting him on the head like they were doing, I'm yelling in his helmet for making such a mental error.

Most DB's aren't the brightest guys on the field (and I was a safety), but they are a pretty confident bunch. They think they can take it to the house everytime they touch the ball.

I think their first instinct is to return it - then it's too late. Have seen several of these occasions where the DB runs two yards, slows at the goal line to consider the mistake but isn't sure if he can down it where he's at, so he takes off.
