Bama vs South Carolina

Postby Dossenator » Sat Oct 09, 2010 4:45 pm

Gamecocks lead 21-3.

I love it.

Score looks good now.

Looks marvelous to me. If Hogs can win out and Bama lose 1 more the Ark can still win the SEC west. Long shot but more of a chance now.

Well then; that's that...

What a game for South Carolina.

And how about Sparti.?.

Michigan State showed us they can compete and win in a high profile hostile road game.

Seemingly, the only thing standing in the Spartans' way, is Iowa City...

If Michi St wins @ Kinnick on Oct 30th, they could potentially share a Big Ten title with Ohio St...

So, I guess I'll ask the question now.

Since Ohio State & Michigan State do not play this season; what would be the result of the Spartans & the Buckeyes both finishing undefeated, and all other BCS conference schools have at least one loss or more...

Could we be looking at a possible all Big Ten National Championship game?

Big difference a schedule makes...to drive a point.

Bama, if they had played Arkansas and then layed up until the bowl, would be in different shape.

Correct. Bama played Arkansas, Florida and South Carolina in three weeks, with two of the games on the road.

Prepare for the loud crying coming the deep south if bama falls behind Boise in the polls. LOL. I can't wait to listen to Feinbaum's Alabama homer show on Monday, they will be a quiet bunch. They talked a lot of junk about SC all week and now they have a big plate of crow to eat.

Just note, Bama was squarely beaten!

Very true... It happens to the best of us every once in awhile and I guess this was Bama's once.

Yea, as it has certainly been a while.

Bama is a smashmouth team. If you make them throw, it puts them out of their element. Arkansas would have beaten them if that first interception by Mallet was a TD pass. It doesn't mean Alabama is not a good team. Football is about matchups and if Bama plays a team that gets them down two o three TD's, they can't recover. Bama has a solid team. Great running game, decent passing attack, and decent defense. If that decent defense was a great defense, they would easily be the best team in the nation.
