Mallett after 5 games has 1,748 yards, completion percentage right at 70%, 15 TD's (13 passing, 2 rushing), and 6 int's.
Per game yards (301, 400, 380, 357, and 310).
Per game TD's (3, 4, 3, 2, and 3).
Per game int (1, 1, 0, 3, 1)... That Bama game was a killer.
The int's are disturbing...last year he only had 7 all year. He all ready has 6 this year after 5 games (however 3 came against Bama which skews the numbers a little).
Next up Auburn...in Auburn.

Ryan Mallett after 5 games

Re: Ryan Mallett after 5 games
1 int/game isn't bad. Gotta be aggresive.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

If Michigan fades (which the odds are in their favor of doing) and Arkansas stays in the hunt for a BCS bowl, I think Mallett will have the Heisman edge. Given Michigan fading, you can probably narrow it down to Mallett, Luck (if Stanford wins the Pac-10), and Kellen Moore.

I agree. I like Malllet at QB right now.
