After last night's Orange Bowl the confidence points leaders are still Howdy (346), Fanatic (331) and Donovan (328).

Howdy and Razorhawk lead the straight pickem at 17-12, with 7 players at 16-13.

The group has now picked 52% correct, slightly better than a drunk monkey could do.

Ill bet a sober monkey couldn't do much better. Howdy always does well he has this picking thing down. Me not so much.

Confidence points always get me. Big game tonight Spence. Probably more so for the Razorbacks as they have not been on the BCS stage, since the BCS started.
Hoping for the Bucks to be 0-10 versus the SEC after tonight.

Always a big game in the BCS. I wish we had the horses to make it interesting. Our defense will struggle.

Correct you were. Unlike Spence crying with a loaf of bread under his arm about OSU, you were spot on.

Leaders after the Sugar Bowl are Donovan (354), Howdy (351), Eric (332) and Fanatic (331).

Straight up pickem is led by Howdy (18-12) followed by five at (17-13).

After the bowl game between Middle Tenn State and Miami OH, Howdy jumps back on top with 361 points, followed by Donovan (354), Fanatic (338) and Eric (332).

In the straight pickem, Howdy also leads with a 19-12 record, followed by Razorhawk and Cane at 18-13. The group remains at just above .500 at .517.

Four games remain.

Oh, BTW why is this GoDaddy bowl being played after Jan 1. So much for kids missing too much school with the season dragging out. This is one of the arguments used by those that oppose a playoff, when with a playoff scenario very few teams would still be playing/practicing after Jan 1.

With the Cotton Bowl drubbing that LSU put on the Aggies the order in the pool did not change.

I should have used collegefootballpoll.com's computer's picks - it has 400 confidence points.

With the straight up picks in ... I make a congratulations to both Howdy & RazorHawk;

Those of us whom are 1 game behind, either have the same final two predictions as you guys, or have only 1 choice different.

The best I can do now, is tie for second place.

Dossenator - being in third place with 18 correct picks - has the same final two picks as I, so will finish third.

finatic... has Oregon winning - Eric has Boston College winning; and so, either one will finish tied for first with Razor & Howdy, and the other will finish in third ... or they will both finish in third.

Donovan has Oregon winning, and if the Duck were to win, he will finish tied for first place with RazorHawk , Howdy , and finatic...

Anybody else is either 3 correct choices or more back; with only two games left to be played, cannot catch the leaders.

:!: :!: :!: CONGRATULATIONS :!: :!: :!:

Grandpa Howdy & RazorHawk

The two of you have at least a share of the 2010 Straight Up Picks "Bowl Edition" title.

Howdy, ol` friend ... you seem to always get the best of me, after all is said & done

A perfect time to change a pick or two, to give you a chance as the games haven't been played yet. :D

Sorry, I just can't help myself.

Why is my total of wins plus losses one game less than everybody else? It is so wonderful to see that the basketball program at Miami is now better than the football program.

I'll bet not quite the way Miami wanted it to be better.
