Ohio State's super ethical AD

Gene Smith is a first class guy. This is the kind of ethics he first learned at Notre Dame then reinforced by working for the NCAA before coming to Ohio State. I can only hope he trips over his own lies at some point and gets a trip on the first fast train out of Columbus. At least Tressel never threw any of his players under the bus. Not only did Smith throw them under the bus, he also lied to their face about it.

Pretty much to the point article. I can't wait until the coaches convention after the season. Maybe a completely new alignment done for all teams and conference of 5-14 team or 4 -16 team conferences and an abolition of the NCAA and fresh start for collegiate athletics. Not sure where that would lead but, it can't be any worse. Spread the word!

The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I agree. I'm not the Smith's biggest fan. I think he has been complicit in The wrong doing at Ohio State. I'll go to my grave believing that Tressel took the info he had to Smith originally and Smith sat in it, then denied being a part of it to save his butt.

Smith has one thing going for him, he looks more like Richard Pryor everyday.
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
