Ark vs LSU
First of all lsu is a better team...a team of thugs, but better. Only thing I am pissed about is the bogus off sides call when Ark stopped LSU on 4th and inches. Ark would have had the ball and down by 4....deep in 2nd half. Tell me why teams like Bama and LSU always get the calls n plas like that.

Re: Ark vs LSU
I thought it was pretty clear that the Hogs lined up in the neutral zone...I thought a good call.
LSU and Bama's game is, in retrospect, looking like a game of titans. LSU is now having its way with Arkansas. The relentless rushing game makes the passing game so dangerous.

1. They did line up offsides.
2. LSU picked up the 1st down on the play, even without the penalty.

Re: Ark vs LSU
Both teams tackle for the ball...but LSU is ruthless.

no they did not, and no they did not. If that is lined up in nuetral zone then both teams should have been flagged multiple times all game. He wad marked a half yard short of the first.

Ark coach has no class. Nice handshake, Petrino.

Manhandled....ruthless is correct. and...like the announcer said..."Who wants some voter from OREGON do decide the SEC's fate. These guys want it all ways....both ways and side ways.....
Give LSU to glass ball and spare country from this incredulity of this all.

Re: Ark vs LSU
I think this is correct. And if that is all we have to hang our hat on, that is sad. Arkansas came out early and jumped on top, but LSU definitely showed that they were the better team. Arkansas 10-2 and losses on the road to Alabama and LSU, nothing to hang your head down.grinder wrote:1. They did line up offsides.

I was a little disappointed the final scores wasn't a little closer, but still a great season. I thought that the officiating was just fine, and cannot claim it had anything to do with the outcome.
I don't think Petrino was real happy that LSU was still throwing the ball, in the final minutes when the game was clearly over. Of course the announcers were talking about style point, in case LSU were to lose in Atlanta versus Georgia.

I don't really care one way or another, but the camera shots that they showed had Arkansas guys helmets past the ball when they were in their stance.

Re: Ark vs LSU
And let's talk about the lie less than stellar human being Jordan Jefferson's TD. Where he runs in, points to audience, and gives the fingers across chest, with no other LSU player around him. I thought that was a penalty starting this year. One that could negate the TD. I guess he missed the memo when he was bashing a guys head in with his foot. How he remained on the team is beyond me. I can't wait for next year. Go Hogs and rest in peace Garrett Uekman!
Razorhawk...I said LSU was the better team. But that was a huge play that changed momentum. If that's AR ball and they score then the game could have played out differently. The ref came in well behind the yellow line and marked the ball a half yard short...if not for the questionable flag it would have not been a first down. Probably does not matter LSU is better than Ark this year. Now Georgia go out and knock Honey Badgers and Jefferson. silly.

The were offsides...in the neutral zone. Arkansas has a lot more problems than the officiating. I was pulling for them, but just outgunned. And frankly...I keep thinking other than brute strength and awkwardness, LSU does not look as invincible as they seem to be.

Boy that's a stretch. I bet you support the criminal Jefferson and believe he is all class. And how about that class coach Miles who allows criminals to remain on the team all for the sake of winning.

Re: Ark vs LSU
Tough week full of tough circumstances...death of a player, candle light vigal, short week, travel, etc. I thought the Hogs handled themselves well. Would have been hard to focus on football this week. Proud of the Hogs...that showed great sportsmanship this season. They would score a TD and gently place the ball on ground or hand it to the ref (then celebrate with the team on the sideline). Proud to be a Razorback fan! Good season with a chance at 11 wins. Better things coming. Go Hogs!!!

Why do you make an assumption about who I support and who I don't?
Were you at the LSU fight when it occurred? You sound like you know all the inside details of what transpired that night.
I actually support Lee, but I am a Tiger fan and I support our team.
Your coach would have no part of a handshake or exchanging comments with Miles after the game. This is what my comment was regarding. Maybe we should have hung 60 on Patrino to really give him something to PO'd about.
