He had a lot of quotes about the game, the clock rule is what was focused on by the press. Probably trying to make him come across as a crybaby. What he said was true though, man that game ended fast. I mean, even with the old clock rules, we would have only at most been able to make it look closer. But those last 6 minutes frickin flew by, I really hope they don't keep these stupid clock rules. Obviously, when the Bucks had the ball with 2 minutes left in the first half, they were able to run the drill, so it doesn't make it impossible. But let's face it, if these clock rules were in effect last year, we wouldn't be the defending National Champions. With the refs stopping the game so much and with the clock flying, I do agree with Mack, the fans are the ones getting robbed.

I don't like the new clock rules either. It does help clock management coaches like Tressel, though. If the old clock rules would have been in place, Ohio State would have ran the ball more at the end of the game to milk the clock. The way the new rules work he doesn't have to.

Good thing the end of the game is a little fuzzy for me. Sitting between to OSU fans, one of which is a guy you haven't truly drank with since you played football together, a handle of vodka and a 24 pk of Bud Light definitely helps soften the blow of seeing your team held to single digits.

Until morning.

Well, I did wake up at 9am, and the first thought was, "why am I on the couch still?", the second "I should've taken bama girls advice about the aspirin, crackers, and water", the third "aww %*$@, we lost", the fourth "is the game over yet?"

Yes in that order.

I thought Ohio State was going to lose the game. Friday night I dreamt we won the game. When I woke up saturday the dream felt so real, I was pretty calm the whole game. The final score was 38-31 in my dream, so it wasn't quite true, but a cool dream.

You guys and gal will enjoy this:

This morning when I got to work Sunday's sports page from the Columbus Dispatch was taped to my computer and the headline photocopied about 20 different places around the building, including 3 in the mens restroom.

I miss winning, it was way, way, way more fun.

That was monday's sports page. The Sunday page was put to bed before the game was over. They had articles about the game, but nothing on the final score.

Yeofoot, I talk to a buddy of mine who went to the game and he said that the Texas fans were awesome. He had a great time before, during, and after the game. According to him, fans from both sides had a very good time after the game. He said Austin is a great city.

It's that down south hospitality, they aspire to be as courteous as those fellers in Nebraska.

From what I hear about it, we could learn a little from those folks.
