I agree with you on the recent blowouts...we haven't seen that in along time...even in Solich's days.

Try again, Colorado beat Nebraska 62-36, tell me that's not a 'blowout'.

Nebraska had no excuse being in the same division as Colorado, that year. Then they get the invitation to the Rose Bowl.

62-36= 26
30-3=27
I guess that means Nebr had a blow out over Colo. last year

Nebr big score over Colo.
1963 41-6 1975 63-21 1978 52-14 1979 38-10 1980 45-7
1981 59-0 1983 69-19 1992 52-7

I hate myself for doing this, but returning a little salt.

Yeah, Nebraska is ususally quite 'generous' when it comes to running up the score, it's one reason why Nebraska is so 'popular' in Colorado.

FYI, the 'final' score, last year (a game that meant nothing as far as the N. Division is concerned) wasn't as bad as the 'half-time' score between CU and Nebraska in 2001 (when all the chips were on the table).
And, Colorado didn't appear to care if they beat Nebraska, or not. I gues that was Nebraska's 'championship' game. CU's was with Texas.

Make what you want of last year's game. The fact remains it wasn't for the N division. Iowa St should have 'iced' that the week before. The final result had little, if any bearing on who went to the championship.
(However if Colorado had won, they would have won N. outright).

Anyway, we'll see how 'far' the Nebraska program has come on Saturday.
