They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I think that is the best thing that could happen for the team. Stafford is the guy who should have been there from the begining. If he would have started the early games he would have been ready by the time the conference games come along. He still might be.

Actually I'm not sure it does matter, that much.
Sounds like they have a good QB waiting in the 'wings'. I've noticed that generally-speaking a competent backup can take a team as far, if not farther, than the starter can.
Case-in-point. Colorado, 2001 had a blue-chip QB go down early. He was replaced by a 5th year senior who took the Buffaloes all the way to the Fiesta Bowl (where they subsequently lost to Oregon, 38-16).
But it gave the Colorado football team anohter 'dimension' they likely wouldn't have had, otherwise. The 'best' players don't always make the best team. That's been proven time & time again.
Just look at the 'so-called' Dream Teams. The USA basketball team, lost to Greece in the world championships, after they basically told everyone how they were going to 'reclaim' their position of 'superiority'. Russia lost to USA, in the 1980 Olympics, professionals to amateurs.
Hopefully collegiate athletics will never lose that component (amateur).
It's what makes it 'unique' in my mind. Championship teams aren't always the 'best' in terms of overall talent. It's how they 'mesh' togehter.

Georgia is going to play power football and will focus on the run. I think they role all over Alabama-Birmingham this weekend...no matter who the QB is. They will rely on the run and defense to keep them into games while the freshman QB progresses. Who knows he may end up being the started full time if he performs well.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).
