I can't really argue anything here. I know the college football gods have a way of making us sound stupid every January, but considering how loaded the college football world is right now with star power, I don't see any way somebody not on this list doesn't win it. It's either Bridgewater, Miller, Boyd, McCarron, Manziel, or Yeldon for me. If you handed me McCarron, Manziel, and Bridgewater versus the field, I'd take the trio.
One problem Bridgewater is going to have to overcome is the "Heisman Moment." Considering the shape that the Big East finds themselves in, he doesn't have any marquee games. The four best teams that Louisville is slated to face are Ohio, UCF, Cincinnati, and Rutgers. I think him not having the big comeback against the top 5 opponent to save Louisville's season is going to derail his chances. We know there's probably a 50/50 chance of either A&M or Alabama playing for the national title and they are going to have the bigtime matchups and the opportunities to make Heisman statements.
