You have seen a scenio like this play out before. Where a ball control team with an outstanding RB plays the anoited champion and has no chance to keep up with the team that has it all. Defense, Offense, skill players.....and yet the 2002 Buckeyes beat Miami - still one of the best put together teams ever - even though it took a 4 and 2 last ditch effort to beat Purdue, that year, to win. Marcus Freeman is a Tressel disciple through and through only he will go for a forth down from time to time instead of punting. This Notre Dame team and this Ohio State team draw lots of similarities to that game.
If Notre Dame can run the ball then they have a path to win. Love is very good. He seems heathy. Leonard can move. They are just as hungry, if not more hungry. That is the key to the game for them. Ohio State has to keep Howard's jersey clean and use their advantage. We will see which team gets their game.
