We're here, at the Two Month Point :!:


In 60 Days, the 2025 Season will Kickoff in Dublin, Ireland.

As has become tradition, here on the games for Week Zero with Week One to start the College Football Season.

The base Rules remain the Rules; You have up until the first game's kickoff to get your predictions in --- You may change any pick up `til then.

A 30 Game Block --- The first 4 games are set for Saturday, August 25th --- Good Luck!

(1.) Kansas State --- [I think the Wildcats Defense has a lot of roster talent needed for early success]
(2.) Kansas --- [I dunno what to think about them; but they're at home, so that might matter]
(3.) Western Kentucky --- [they were one of the few that got `em a year ago]
(4.) Stanford --- [who really is good enough to win this one ..? it is in Honolulu, still, they are pretty bad]


Thursday, August 28th, 2025

(5.) Boise State --- [I'm not yet sold on the Bulls supposed turnaround ... they could yet prove me wrong]
(6.) Ohio --- [does this count as going out on a limb ..? I'm not so sure it does]
(7.) N.C. State --- [they lost to the other guys in a Bowl to finish out the year; with a post game brawl]
(8.) UCF --- [the return of the Central Knights National Championship coach ... ... or something]
(9.) Akron --- [when the ceiling is on the floor, and the floor is in the basement; expectations are low]
(10.) Alabama State --- [in state cross conference, Group of 5 clash]
(11.) Nebraska --- [I do not see the Bearcats as being there yet]
(12.) Wisconsin --- [though it would be hilarious if a team with that name beat these dopes]


Friday, August 29th, 2025

(13.) App State --- [they are the more consistent of the two; maybe take football more seriously]
(14.) Baylor --- [this is the type of early game they generally lose; but the Tigers are a mess]
(15.) Georgia Tech --- [Haynes King and Jamal Haynes both return for the Yellow Jackets]
(16.) UNLV --- [both teams are heading in the right direction; the Rebels were really impressive last year]
(17.) San José State --- [they were all over the place a season ago; however, better than the other guys]


Saturday, August 30th, 2025

(18.) Tennessee --- [don't exactly see how this one is a neutral site]
(19.) Texas --- [the Buckeyes are a machine with some ??'s to start the season; Manning game (1.)]
(20.) Purdue --- [two of the worst FBS teams last year clash In-State; one of them has to win it]
(21.) Northwestern --- [I have to believe they'll be better than what they were last season]
(22.) Alabama --- [Castellanos may just have put his foot all the way down to his stomach]
(23.) Clemson --- [they've got the Home atmosphere; LSU is replacing their entire starting O-Line]
(24.) Washington State --- [I'm tempted to take the Vandals; it'll be their Super Bowl / still ...]
(25.) Cal --- [even being at Home I'm not sure it'll matter; who are these guys, even??]
(26.) Utah --- [they had similar seasons last year; I just think the Utes with Whittingham are more established]
(27.) Washington --- [I'm going to believe that being in Seattle and the talent gap will matter in this one]

(28.) South Carolina --- [both teams are an improving project; one team is further along]

HOLY MOSES……. I don’t have a clue. :shock:

After doing a little research it’s evident the transfer portal has dramatically changed the team development time frame with teams now being able to fill spots lost to graduation or lost eligibility or transfers with experienced players…….. teams can lose star players and just get another one and plug him in. And that’s going to make early season pickin’ a little more challenging.
