"It is only impossible until it has been accomplished." ... then it becomes standardized ...
Success is measured by results; whereas Character is measured through the means by which one achieves those results . . .
It seems the Rapture did come for two worthy souls:
In Memory of Grandpa Howdy
In Memory of Donovan Davisson

”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
- John Madden

(1.) Penn State --- [I mean, what other upset could there be this week, really ..?]
(2.) Syracuse --- [ND is playing better, but the Dome this week isn't golden]
(3.) Auburn --- [maybe the home crowd can sort things out]
(4.) Miami --- [we lose this one and I'm going for a swim in one of Mountainman's cousin's distillery barrels]
(5.) Georgia --- [yeah, pretty obvious ... but this is a yearly staple]
(6.) Kansas State --- [winner of this game is vying for a rematch vs the Horned Frogs]
(7.) Toledo --- [I've not watched enough MAC games to know better, this season]
(8.) UCF --- [I was going to go the other way ... still might]
(9.) New Mexico State --- [Aggies won the Rio Grande and then got a week off due to postponement]
(10.) Navy --- [I actual do think they are a better team]
(11.) Western Kentucky--- [winner of this game takes the 2cnd place slot in CUSA]
(12.) SMU --- [the winner of this will jump up 3 conference spot, while the loser will be 3rd from the bottom]
(13.) South Carolina --- [O' what a difference a year can make]
(14.) Tennessee --- [if this were in Lexington I'd be compelled to go with the Wildcats]
(15.) Michigan --- [I can't see Mel pulling it off this year]
(16.) Arizona State --- [these guys beat Washington in Seattle; unless the elevation becomes an issue]
(17.) Texas Tech ---[another home field pick'em]
(18.) North Carolina --- [this was actually one of the easier choices of the week]
(19.) UTEP --- [night game for to awful teams; I don't even know if the home field can make a difference]
(20.) Fresno State --- [neither of them have beaten anyone worth a note of credence; Bulldogs @ Home]

Let's just hope we start heading towards a post/postmodernist world, sooner, rather than later.
