Saturday, September 9th

(1.) Wake Forest --- [games like this are why I don't believe in confidence points]
(2.) Notre Dame --- [the Blue Devils lowered Clemson's stock, what'll happen here?]
(3.) Colorado --- [it's a rivalry game with two new head coaches; goin' home field]
(4.) Virginia Tech --- [simply another home field pick; almost went the other way]
(5.) James Madison --- [I didn't learn anything about the wahoos in week one]
(6.) Ole Miss --- [ought to be a bunch of offense in this one]
(7.) Miami --- [maybe our cheerleaders can distract Petrino; put one on a Bike  ]
(8.) Iowa --- [both teams gave up more yards than gained in their wins last week]
(9.) Northwestern --- [I really don't know what to think about either one of them]
(10.) Syracuse --- [but it wouldn't surprise me if the Broncos win]
(11.) Texas State --- [is this an outlier ..? it doesn't feel like it should be]
(11.) ECU --- [I don't know if a 4 point win over Albany bodes well for the `Herd]
(13.) Pitt --- [they both beat up basically on middle school teams, so I don't know]
(14.) Alabama --- [it could go the other way; but it's `Bama]
(15.) Coastal Carolina --- [I actually think these guys might be pretty decent]
(16.) UCF --- [the smurf turf glory days may have already had its twilight]
(17.) Wisconsin --- [ye' whom can run the ball with these new clock rules can win]
(18.) Mississippi State --- [when you don't know, go with the cowbells]
(19.) Auburn --- [though the olden Bears look better than in quite some time]
(20.) Oklahoma State --- [gotta pick somebody]

We need to get Cane on Game Day……. I would love to hear his humorous quips during the picks segment of the show. I can hear him now after Chris Fowler asks him who he’s picking in the Miami/A&M game and what’s the difference maker in this matchup??? Cane replies, “You know Chris just what is it about big boobs and motorcycles that appeals to some coaches?

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Yes. Anybody is better than that Pat McAfee guy. I want David Pollack back.

McAfee came to West Virginia with wild colored hair that looked like he stuck his finger into an electrical outlet……. and missed TWO chip shot field goals against Pitt that would have put the Mountaineers in the National Title Game. He’s just campaigning and flag waving for Rich Rod to return to the Mountaineers, who after his issues as compared to Bob Huggins issues and the consequences Huggins was handed, would more than likely eliminate him from consideration……. although there are many current WVU fans and supporters that are desperate and dumb enough the wave the Rodriguez Flag.

WVU is at a crossroads……. decision making is absolutely critical at this point. So far, our new Athletic Director has shown leadership and correctness. We’ll see.

I completely forgot that he played for WVU!
