(9.) Tennessee
(10.) Louisiana Tech
(11.) UAB
(12.) James Madison
(13.) Toledo
(14.) Arkansas
(15.) Purdue
(16.) West Virginia --- the Mountaineers darn well better get the back end of their defense in order, they looked like crap against Penn State and again last weekend early against Duquesne. The best thing that happened was a two hour lightening delay during the game where they appeared to get it straightened out….. and is the very thing that got them beat at Pitt last season, along with Neil Brown’s dumbass notions that Coaches not PLAYERS win football games!!!!!
(17.) New Mexico

(20.) Arizona State

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Saturday, September 16th

(1.) Mississippi State --- [what I've learned, is to not assume I've learned anything]
(2.) Kansas State --- [the Tigers are finally graduating to the varsity team]
(3.) Indiana --- [I'm still not sure what the Cardinals' hype was about]
(4.) UMass --- [I just don't believe Ypsilanti is all too intimidating of a venue]
(5.) North Carolina --- [I don't know Chris; can you row a boat upstream on a mountain pass? ]
(6.) Rutgers --- [will Va Tech ever pull it together??]
(7.) Appalachian State --- [believe it or not, the Hills & Hollers do Love their Football]
(8.) Washington --- [now we'll get to see if they're just as competent on the road]
(9.) Tennessee --- [can the Vols drain the swamp???]
(10.) Louisiana Tech --- [when terrible schedules awful, this is what you end up with]
(11.) UAB --- [are these teams really just that bad????]
(12.) James Madison --- [they've been decent so far]
(13.) San José State --- [belief is a fickle thing; sometimes it never surfaces]
(14.) Arkansas --- [occasionally you just have to pick a team, and hope for the best]
(15.) Syracuse --- [went back & forth with this one, and still not sold; might change it]
(16.) West Virginia --- [they've both lost a game; leaving the sample size as Duquesne and Wofford]
(17.) New Mexico --- [say what you want; games like this make College Football what it is]
(18.) UConn --- [if they don't win this, their only win may be against Sacred Heart week 12]
(19.) TCU --- [I mean, the Cougars lost to Rice :? ]
(20.) Fresno State --- [sure ~ why not?????]

WARNING

After reviewing the predictions for Week Three, that our colleague Cane has so willingly and graciously provided us with for our enjoyment, that all ‘Pickers’, so far, have picked my beloved West Virginia University Mountaineers to defeat the University of Pittsburgh Peckerheads this coming Saturday evening at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West ‘by god’ Virginia.

In the spirit of Fair Play and Sportsmanship I feel an obligation to let you know that Neil Brown, Head Football Coach of the Mountaineers, has on numerous occasions shown the propensity as ‘Offensive Play Caller’ to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with his steadfast notion that he knows what the HELL HE’S DOING.

Good Luck and Let’s Gooooo Mountaineers!!!
