These games tonight are going very similarly ...
Both teams I'd have taken to lose, jumped out to a 14-0 lead.
Army & Virginia started very strong.
Since then, UTSA & Maryland have both gotten into the end zone. But, with the new clock rules, you do not want the lead to get out more than a single score.
Texas San Antonio had better be careful.
You cannot get into this sort of contest with a team such as the Black Knights. These guys are all about time management, and ball control.
Army is right now facing a 3rd & 10. So, the Roadrunners need to get this stop.
Never mind ... the unlikely happened.
Army threw it deep, and got the first down inside the 15.
If they get another TD, UTSA maybe starring down the barrel of an L.
Nice D there.
Army held to 3. leads 17-7
Virginia also got onto Maryland's side of the field.
Oof, typed that too soon.
Holding pushes the wahoos back past the 50.
Virginia had to punt ... Maryland can now try and make this a real game.
