Championship Weekend!

Friday, December 1rst

(1.) Liberty
(2.) Oregon

Saturday, December 2cnd

(3.) Texas
(4.) Toledo
(5.) Boise St……. FLIP game, it’s a toss up. Where’s my Kennedy half dollar?
(6.) Georgia
(7.) Tulane
(8.) Troy
(9.) Michigan
(10.) Florida State…….. hmmmm, I read they’ve lost their QB. Gotta think about that. :?

I watched replays of the FSU/Florida and Louisville/KY games over the weekend. Both FSU and Louisville looked shaky and FSU’s QB replacement is young and inexperienced and it showed, but he also showed some toughness and grit too. As for Louisville, after looking at their games this season, it depends on which Louisville team shows up, they are definitely an up and down team….. kinda like a Forrest Gump box of chocolates.

I’m hoping FSU wins the game, just to see how the CFP Committee deals with an undefeated conference champ when there’s clearly, IMHO, better teams for 1 of those 4 spots.

………..and btw, I’m having a good time, while just shaking my head, watching Texas trying desperately to wiggle and finagle their way into the CFP.

Saturday, December 9th

(11.) Army

”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

Friday, December 1rst

(1.) Liberty --- [when the game is a Home location literally Cross-country; it'll be tough]
(2.) Oregon --- [they're gonna be looking to prove something]

Saturday, December 2cnd

(3.) Texas --- [the Cowboys have pulled off some wild things; but this won't be one of `em]
(4.) Toledo --- [the Rockets are a mere Field Goal from being undefeated; but only beat M (OH) by 4]
(5.) UNLV --- [their Home field is a Championship venue]
(6.) Georgia --- [although I believe if anyone can do it, it'd be Bama ... I just can't]
(7.) SMU --- [this could be a fantastic game ... or I'm wrong and the Green Wave drowns `em]
(8.) Troy --- [I wrestled with this pick; it boiled down to it being a Home Location site]
(9.) Michigan --- [Ole Blue's got just the type of offense to mule plow the Hawkeyes]
(10.) Louisville --- [do I believe this ..? I'm not so sure]

Saturday, December 9th

(11.) Army --- [I don't know about this one, though; often it goes the way you wouldn't expect]
