”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

Saturday, November 9th

(1.) Virginia Tech --- [I'd have more confidence in this if it were a night game]
(2.) Indiana --- [the folks in Bloomington are riled]
(3.) Texas Tech --- [I might be as surprised in my own pick as you are]
(4.) Missouri --- [Sooners offense on the road ... talk about conscientious observer]
(5.) Minnesota --- [though the location may matter]
(6.) Syracuse --- [the way they came back to beat the Hokies makes me believe this]
(7.) NC State --- [this one was harder to pick than I thought]
(8.) Arizona State --- [ASU is looking pretty decent these days]
(9.) Cincinnati --- [I went against my intial feeling here; and I usually flub when I do]
(10.) TCU --- [has Gundy just called it a wash for the season]
(11.) San José State --- [I just can't get over the Beavers' loss to Nevada, or the absolute drubbing by Cal]
(12.) Florida --- [it's not a chomp; the gator hand clap is a legal requirement to inform you of their medical condition]
(13.) Texas State --- [they're battling over 4th place ... in their division, Yay!]
(14.) Georgia --- [I do not believe Ole Miss has the pass rush flurDah! has]
(15.) Army --- [though they may get truly tested by the Mean Green]
(16.) Kennesaw State --- [maybe the battle for 2024 worst in FBS]
(17.) Vanderbilt --- [have the Gamecocks come down from their high ..? they will in Nashville]
(18.) Louisiana --- [after combing over the quality of wins the Red Wolves have; I realize they haven't]
(19.) LSU --- [must win for both ... home team is my pick]
(20.) BYU --- [things haven't gone so well for the Utes this season]

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
