A playoff or a plus-one game would get rid of all the controversy of the BCS and not allow for there to be two champions.

Obviously a playoff would get rid of all the controversy of the BCS if a playoff were to replace the BCS, but would a playoff get rid of all the controversy? I think not .... same dog with different fleas.

Since there are numerous independent 'crowners of champions', such as the AP .... what makes you think they would always agree with the outcome of a playoff?

We really aren't very good at staying on topic. I have always likened this board to sitting at a bar talking (without the language) and this is just another example of that.
