He Left His Heart In Pullman, Washington

Postby BYUfan1 » Wed Dec 06, 2006 2:23 pm

Tony Bennett did it. The Washington State Cougars beat the mighty Gozaga Bulldogs last night. It is amazing what defense with some 3-pointers can do for a team. They have to practice their free throws before PAC 10 games start however. What makes it even better is that Tony's dad, Dick Bennett was at the game last night.

They still are playing as individuals more than as a team. They also have 2 players who are eligible until January. The team probably had the game with Washington on their mind. Washington State might have won but they are not better than Gonzaga.

It was a big deal to WSU....and I think the game was at Pullman. State of Washington has three good teams this year, thus far...Gonzaga, WSU and UW.
