Wager?

Postby Spence » Wed Mar 15, 2006 12:32 am

Anyone interested in throwing in $100.00 (CFP Bucks) into a kitty for the winner of the B-Ball tournament? Acknowledge with a reply. Only those who filled out the bracket are eligible. Winner take all.

That is $1100.00 for the winner if everyone gets in. How about it, any takers?

Yeah, if you can keep track of who puts in the $$ and who gets the $$, I can do the transfer.

Or you can, Spence. I'm pretty sure you have the board authority to do it. I'll check though.

Or we can just give the winner $1000 CFP Bucks, and no one has to put any money in at all. Might be easier that way =]

I think it is more fun to use our "money". I think I can do the money changes. I haven't tried it but there is a link to modify everyones cash that I can click on.

OK so far we have Rolltide, Lubbock, and Eric. How about you Openskies?

I'll set the deadline for Saturday at noon. No need to worry that the tournament has started because the brackets have been filled out.

Also the most games right wins. Games count 1 point each with a 5 point bonus for having the 2 teams in the final game right and a 10 point bonus for picking the winner. That should eliminate any ties.

Haha, I just picked because I wanted to make sure it worked!

I basically just picked the higher ranked of the two teams, all the way through.

But, what the heck, I'll do it anyways =] Not like I can't add $500 back into my account after I lose it all haha.

Just kidding.

Put me down for $200 ;) I don't pull my own weight enough around here haha, so I'll double the bet to bring the pool up higher.

Maybe it'll also encourage some others to chip in!

Make it an even $1000. We'll steal the other $100 from CFP Admin

I'm in if it's not too late. I'll only win if Duke loses to Texas.

You can be in. THe bracket was filled out before the games started so I guess it really doesn't matter. As long as no one objects I am OK with you getting in now.

Wooohooo! If Texas wins it all, I'm money, if they don't, I'll have just donated a hundred cfp bucks to the cause.
