Anybody want to venture a guess on how this bunch advised Matt? :D

Seems like somebody forgot to mention the commode-huggin', knee-walkin' and dry-heaves part ..... not to mention the first thing to go is everybody else's hearing as for some reason the first "few" shots causes one to start talking louder. :D

I haven't really gotten much into beer, yet. You guys gotta keep in mind I'm a total newcomer to this part of life (hasn't even been 4 months yet). This thread is kind of helping me pick out what to try next, so thanks to Rolltide for starting this up.

I have been a Mezcal drinker my whole life. The Tequila is something you want to stay away from until you have some history with liquor. Otherwise you will have some really bad experiences. Tequila is something, that by it's nature, that will encourage over indulgence. It should be only consumed by people who have had some experience with drinking.

I have never been much for schnapps. I like that clean burn. Not much for the stuff that tastes like syrup.

Miller Lite on the golf course.
Michelob at Outback (it's the only AB product I can stand and goes down well with a Bloomin' Onion).

Smirnoff Ice or Crown and 7 while playing Blackjack at any casino.

Margarita at Texas Roadhouse.

Tequila shots if I'm in a hurry to change my attitude.

But - I really don't drink that often. Hardly keep a drop at the house anymore.

I have a full liquor cabinet at home. It has been full for years. I seldom ever drink at home. I am mostly a golf course drinker.

I RARELY touch anything but Guinness or a Guinness/Bass combo..."Black and Tan"

NO hard liquor.

Red Wines only. Preferably a Merlot or Cabernet

I do like a new thing i've had lately called Madeira(sp). Odd taste but pretty good overall, George Washington loved it.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
