10 days folks...10 days.

In 10 days you can bring world peace...I mean...just the ACT of becoming president makes the birds chirp.

if you don't know what I mean, read the Drudge report. I don't see how anybody can take this award seriously anymore, now that a bunch of quasi commies run it.

I was shocked when I heard the news this morning. This is the same prize that was given to Yasser Arafat in 1994....not very credible if you ask me.

Barry O joins the club of Yasser Arafat (as Doss mentioned), Jimmy Carter, and Al Gore. I wonder why no Republicans win Nobel prizes? Even from a liberal perspective, he's failed to bring troops out of Iraq. If you want to judge it technically on peace, he's failed miserably because he's still managing the Iraq war.

What will the peace prize committe think when Obama sends more troops to Afghanastan. This is straight from Alred Nobel's will listing the criteria in selecting a winner: "and one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses." (http://nobelpeaceprize.org/en_GB/alfred ... testament/).

You can't rationalize with liberals. They're blockheads and can be very dense at times. I'm reading the CNN.com comments and just shaking my head with the infuriating comments like, "this is the change I voted for", "why can't republicans give this guy any credit", "he won the award for not being George Bush", etc. It's so annoying. I like liberal stances on mostly social issues as a libertarian, but they don't consider things like the proper and moral role of government, they make decisions based on their anti-religion bias.

If you look at this objectively, the only difference between Obama and Bush in foreign policy has been the shutting down of Guantanamo Bay. You can argue if this is a good or bad thing; they both have pros and cons, but it was mostly a symbolic move. So far, his campaign has been filled with empty promises and an apology tour which I bet the prize was his award for that. Has he "talked" with North Korea and Iran? Has he pulled troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq? The "change" you voted for must be simply the closing of Guantanamo Bay. Either that, or you have a delusional opinion of Republicans

You guys, sniffle, sniffle...have me sobbing! Preach on brethren. The world has lost it's collective darn mind!

On Guantanamo...the military has considered leaving that crapper for years!

Yo' Mama O'Bama won the prize in a leading the witness effort! That is just Euro-Liberalist "reward the behavior training!" I need a prize then too for the 15 times a week I resist the urge to back hand the idiots I have to deal with just to grab groceries. I deserve an award for not stopping everyday and pulling a cop out of the car who sits by the road ALL day on the little road to work to bolster the city's funding. While people rob, rape, murder, molest, kidnap, and commit every sin known to man!

This cracked me up, from a Reuters a report on Obama's Nobel Prize!

"Japanese President Yukio Hatoyama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel both said the prize should encourage everyone to help Obama rid the world of nuclear weapons."

Hmmmm, what do these 2 countries have in common? Hmmmm? What could it be???

I'm not sure..............(for donovan)..........is it Automobiles???????

Has anyone heard if the Pay Czar is going to allow obama to keep the 1.4 milllion???? Cause i'd be curious to see what happens with that. Since they will undoubtedly open an investigation to determine if that money is needed.

Obama said yesterday that he was going to donate the 1.4 million to charity.

Sorry, the charity is ACORN.
