I just read on another board that for Florida to go unbeaten, they would have to beat 6 teams in the Top 15 and that does not include the SEC championship game. The problem pollsters have is that there is very difficult to evaluate a team with a weak schedule. In other words, a team with a weak schedule may be the best team in the country, but no way to know without significant competition. Then they only must play a bowl game and in 1 game, as you stated, anything can happen.
Louisville, to some might be this year's Boise State.
