Death Valley: Where Dreams Go to Die (at the hands of refs)

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sat Sep 21, 2013 11:15 pm

Auburn recovered an onside kick with 6+ minutes left . . . down by 14, with all 3 timeouts remaining.
The replay booth calls down, and overturns the recovery . . .

The ball looked as though it traveled the full 10 yards . . . the camera angle had no where near enough of a clear image to show otherwise . . . the booth is not impartial tonight.

On a side note: Auburn is a lot better than I imagined they'd be . . . either that, or LSU isn't as good as I had previously assumed.

That is my problem with replay. They try to see things. If it isn't clear they weren't supposed to use it.

I'd have a lot less of a problem, if they would call it the way they are supposed to.
But sometimes the both seems to favor the home team . . . and even one time is too often.
