Ga/LSU

Postby Derek » Sat Sep 28, 2013 7:02 pm

This is ridiculous.

I've never seen the GA defense look so bad.

It's 37-34 and they are about to give it away.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Guess LSU's D is looking to give it up first.

Yeah, Mettenberger just got spooked when the Defender jumped his o-line man.
Georgia stood tall when they had to.
Good win for the Dawgs!

I'd be worried about both defenses at this point. They were leaving guys open all over the field and wrapping up was a struggle. There's still plenty of time until the end of the season to get these defenses seasoned, but they haven't been impressive. It could hurt their bowl record this year. Florida and Alabama are the only "elite" programs in the SEC that have very good defenses this season. And Florida's offense is terrible.

Great Win, Coach. You did a fine job. Few more to go, but keep the faith.

Thanks donovan....I always appreciate your encouragement. 8) I coached to the best of my ability and hope I had an effect.

The funny thing is....I was watching the game in Orlando with friends and after it was over, we just sat their dumbfounded and amazed at the outcome, no one was jumping around or yelling, it was just sheer amazement...one of the girls with us just sat there cyring...And when Richt started a little tearing up, so did I.......And the announcer lady was tearing up as well.

It was an emotional amazement.

SO much burden and anger was released as they beat a Top 10 team for the first time in a long time when it mattered.
