Short Horns vs Clowns
A pretty high profile game for Thursday night. I love these kind of games on Thursdays. Great way to start another football weekend.

So true . . .
Boy, that Texas / ISU game could have been a rout, but Texas kept it interesting enough, by not allowing themselves to get too far ahead --- so much so, that thaey nearly gave the game away.

I like Rece Davis in small doses (as in, halftime shows). His voice drives me crazy if subjected to it for three hours. It's like 1/3 nasal 1/3 southern drawl 1/3 high pitched. Not that any of the above three are bad in and of themselves, but together it doesn't make for the most soothing sound to the ears

I have a similar feeling of Mark May . . . Don't get me wrong, his analysis is generally unbiased . . . but, his high tone, and rapidity of speech gives me a sensation of anxiety.
The man speaks about 300 words a minute.
Dangit Mark, slow down, take a deep breath, and relax when you talk.
I swear, he's a vocal blood pressure elevator.

Re: Short Horns vs Clowns
On a side note, this UCLA/Utah game is turning out to be fairly entertaining, as well.
A 7 point game, 2/3rds the way through the 3rd quarter.
Now this is Thursday Night Football . . . who the heck needs Monday, anyhow . . ?

They don't get any higher toned than Desmond Howard.Cane from the Bend wrote:I have a similar feeling of Mark May . . . Don't get me wrong, his analysis is generally unbiased . . . but, his high tone, and rapidity of speech gives me a sensation of anxiety.
