Not even close.....however doing away with the NBA finals that last two years might make sense..and no baseball in October....

I like the smoke filled room method of choosing who gets to play. Works in politics why not here........Let the unemployed programmers for Obamacare figure out the computer way to have playoffs.

LOL! Classic

Or better yet...let's keep the BCS around and let the computers get programmed by the Obamacare folks.

Shear Chaos!
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Unfortunately, the paradigm is too vast to include everyone.

Adding more games only gives someone a second chance, who likely shouldn't receiver one.
Adding even more games, is plausibly going to give someone a third chance.

Ok, then the following should be eliminated: World Series, Stanley Cup, Super Bowl, NCAA March Madness, NBA Championship etc.

Whom of which, all play everyone in-conference, multiple times each year.
College Football will not have that . . . so, no, the comparison is not valid.

And yes, do away with the World Series . . . because baseball should not still be going on this late into the year.
As far as the NBA is concerned . . . I could live without it, altogether. Along with March Madness.
As far as Hockey goes . . . whatever. Do what you want on ice . . . just don't expect me to watch it on tv.
