Palm, after Oregon's loss...has Ohio State in the Rose Bowl against Stanford.

And Oregon in the Orange Bowl against Clemson.

If Ohio State and Baylor, FSU and Alabama all remain undefeated, there will be a match between these four. As I understand it, only the NC game is picked by BCS and the back room discussions will not allow another two undefeated teams to go unplayed. The general public, those that are not obsessed with what we seem to be only understand win loss. The may get Fresno State is not a "powerhouse," but only because it is not a powerhouse university in the public's mind. The vast majority of revenue is generated from casual fans that are looking for the "in" entertainment. Ever been to a game where people around you, quite a few of them, don't even watch they game. They laugh and giggle and just drive you nuts, "What just happened?" "Did we score?" "Where are we going to eat after the game" "Could you go get me something to drink?" "Why aren't people listening to the cheerleaders?" and of course the classic, they guy sitting next to you listening to the game on the radio who want to give you are running commentary of what is going on in the game you are trying to wat

I think Ohio State and Stanford was always slated for the Rose. It was just that Oregon's projection has moved. FSU should be a lock now. Alabama and Baylor are the teams to watch.

I would definitely go to the Little Caesar's Bowl to watch Northern Illinois play Notre Dame. I think it's more likely for Notre Dame to wind up in the Pinstripe or Poinsettia Bowls since I think West Virginia will get upset on the road against Kansas. I also can't figure out how he has Auburn going to the Music City Bowl. I think they should beat Georgia and lose to Alabama, giving them a 6-2 record and they'll be BCS eligible. Their odds of getting into the BCS instead of a 10-3 South Carolina would be better in my estimation.

Kansas is truly awful this year....

Six double digit losses to BCS teams and two wins against non BCS teams....a three point 13-10 win over La Tech and a win over South Dakota.

WVU should win this game...

And Ol' Chuck should be heading back to a coordinator's position.

I think the Las Vegas Bowl will be Boise State and Notre Dame. Notre Dame won't like it. The Mountain West starts a championship game this year, it is played at the home field of the team with the best BCS ranking, which will be Fresno State. If BSU wins out the rest of the year there will be a rematch of BSU and Fresno State in that game. If Fresno wins, it is going to be, despite what people living in the US <70° longitude think, Fresno will be tough to deal with. If BSU wins, which could happen, Hedrick has blow out numbers against Colorado and they have a bye this week, they would most the the Las Vegas bowl pick. Notre Dame is a good draw no matter where they play and in my opinion, bowls choose the biggest gate draw when there turn comes up.

I wonder why Oregon would agree to travel to the Orange Bowl. I don't see that many people traveling that far.

I'd be surprised if he's right on that.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

And right now Oregon fans are so depressed, they only want to travel to the psychiatrist. I think Palm is off on most all of them save the NC.

I think Oregon would travel. Stanford accepted a bid to the Orange a few years ago. It would be a change from Tempe and Pasadena.

I guess as a Michigan fan I have a Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl loss to look forward to. This team is infuriating.

I know how you feel. This year has been rough for the Dawgs as well. And what makes it really bad, is that you kNOW they are better than they are playing, which is probably true of Michigan too.

And gullible fans, who enable the mediocrity, continue to buy the excuses of "injuries". Even explaining away a team blowing 20 point leads, as if an "injured" team could run up a 23 point lead.

Well Derek, I would argue that there's a good chance we meet each other in the Gator Bowl  . I know I said BDub's earlier, but Michigan travels and Florida usually draws us out of winter hibernation.

At least one of our seasons would end on a high note at that point
