Princeton's 3 QB System

This is an interesting way to run an offense!

If you have the depth at the position and the guys can run and do a little blocking, I don't see how this couldn't work. If you're not good enough to match up one on one with your opponent, misdirection is your greatest ally. Now I do remember UL Monroe watching a high school offensive packaged that utilized two quarterbacks where basically you would do a read option, if the rolling QB gets the handoff, he would then have the option of running with blockers or pitching it downfield, and they used this package with quite a bit of success against Baylor last year (and mysteriously abandoned it the more the game went on).

Even if you think it's a gimmick, it's at least innovative. Maybe Will Muschamp should give Princeton's offensive coordinator a call

There was a time back in the early 2000's where Ga was running a 2 QB system and it worked well.

It's hard to prepare for that when the QBs were diametrically opposite.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

That's how Fulmer dug his grave at Tennessee; having recruited three 5 star qb's in the same class, promising them all playing time (instead of having them compete for the starting job), rotating them in --- but having them all run the same system.

The Offense could not get in rhythm with the guy throwing the ball, and nobody was given the sole start (except one of the qb's transferred).

After that, the teams just fell out of sink, and they have yet to recover to this day.

Texas has been having that problem since Colt graduated.

Anyhow, you're right ...

A two qb system, with alternating styles can be tough to adjust to.
