Georgia is in the middle of their loss to the hated rivals GT, and it's currently 17-0.

Whenever you mention changes in Dawg country, it seems that the Head Coach is always a sacred cow. Even mentioning that there might be problem gets a knee jerk reaction of feigned righteousness. It's like our society does not understand leadership anymore. The coach is not really the captain of the ship....it's always someone else's fault...it's always someone else who dropped the ball, and the coach "can't help it".

Which brings to mind the question....how are head coaches any different than our politicians???? Do we not make excuses for their incompetence? Do we continue to vote for someone because of party lines, even if they get caught breaking the law?

What Georgia fans don't understand is that this is setting a tone for recruiting. Why would a 5 star recruit like Aaron Murray want to come to Ga when he knows it will never deliver a championship, even a conference one??

We are at a critical point as a program....and we WILL blow it I feel. Something HAS to change.

I see many 7-8 win seasons in our future. :( :oops:

Firing Richt would be tough. He almost had Georgia in the national title last year and they were decimated by injuries this year. Murray going down was the last straw. Richt has had a lot of peaks and valleys though. I think they're going to have to make a decision this offseason. Richt appears to be a good coach, but I don't know if he can ever get them over that hump.

No question that injuries are a big deal. But injuries are not the reason they lost to Vanderbilt, Auburn or Missouri. They have a "decent" team walking all over the defense. Which is not hurt when compared to the offense.

Strength and conditioning are also areas that need work. When injuries occur after celebrating a touchdown, that's a problem.

injuries have really hurt Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas this year.
